Review on Govinda Frankincense Natural Resin Size by Melissa Welter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Another BIG Govinda resin!

Another excellent Govinda resin. I burn this stuff every day and I love it. I sometimes use charcoal discs, but mostly I use a potpourri burner that uses a tea light and raises the tea light a bit while the resin rests on a small square of foil. Yes I know. You don't want to burn and inhale the foil. Not me. Tea lights don't burn like that. It actually just melts the incense until it turns black and begins to give off a "darker" scent. I just let the slide cool, scrape the leftovers into the bin, and load again. This method doesn't smoke the house, but you can smell the tar throughout the house. My boyfriend says whenever he comes to my house it smells like a cathedral. When using a charcoal disc I usually add some myrrh (Govinda, of course) from time to time. As for the size of the pea. It's more of a pea-sized fine gravel (like the aquarium gravel sold at Petco. Maybe smaller) than the green peas you eat.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
