I did a lot of research before purchasing this patch panel. I have Belden 10GX62F shielded cables so I was looking for a patch panel , which is suitable for shielded cable. This works with shielded cable. There are clamps that connect to the shield. Clamps also offer good stability (although you don't want to clamp too tight), but the zip cords add an extra "security". ". There is also a strong screw to connect the patch panel to a ground rail. The patch panel is very compact, has labels and covers for unused ports. Note that the connectors are vertical, not vertical. You want that Route wire to center of connector (about 1.5" above terminal) and then distribute wires from there. Twist white too ter straight to the plug.
