My 7 month old loves aspects of this cube but has some flaws. First, it is lightweight and falls very easily. For children who are learning to pull themselves up and stand up, this is not the best option. they are more likely to tip over when loaded. Second, the grille doesn't sit very securely at the top, so it flexes slightly with every movement. Third, the wood on the shape sorter side is very brittle, and there were some unpolished wood edges that were rough on small hands. Generally a good toy for an older/more settled child.
