Great for checking spare tire pressure without removing the tire.

. through one of the holes in the wheel to the other side. The valve stem is usually located on the underside of the tire and cannot be inspected without removing it. Taking the spare part from my 2019 Honda Odyssey is awful. Now I can check the pressure without removing the tire. If I ever need a replacement I will remove the elbow and hose. My VW Passat initially seemed problematic. The elbow at the top of the valve stem is slightly above the tire surface. If you put it horizontally on the ground, the knee will cause the stem to bend slightly. That probably won't be a problem, but it could be. The trick is that the bottom of the well has radial recesses. Simply rotate the tire so the valve stem is in one of the recesses. When the tire surface is resting on the raised indentation sections, the knee does not touch the bottom of the indentation. If there were no dents, a small piece of foam might have worked to lift the tire near the valve stem. and another where the elbow connects the hose. However, I really like that I can now check my spare tires without removing them. Time will tell if this is a good solution. I would like to know how many spare tires have never been checked for air pressure. I've always been bad at checking them out.

Pros
  • . Very good price.
Cons
  • . I vaguely remember.
