It's very soft, the reason I took it was in the lower lumbar support, I'm very small and it's too bulky but that's ok because I like it like a pillow can hug in bed and is good. Overall happy, you also need a spot for it to drip when you take it out of the water and if I have long acrylic nails just start with the pillow part and pull up so all the suction is from the top moved down in the tub. which makes sense 8/10 would recommend
