Okay, listen. You get what you paid for. It's cheap wood held together by glue that seeps through and only looks good from a distance. On that note, my mice absolutely LOVE it. Will this take a while? no Will it be easy to clean? no But considering how cheap it is, I wouldn't mind buying another one in a few months if it falls apart or smells like mouse piss. I have this in a 10 gallon tank and it technically fits, but I wouldn't recommend it. Take 20 or 15 gallons for this. If you want to decorate your cage for your little rodent but don't want to splurge, I recommend this. If you're looking for something permanent, don't buy it. Also: make sure you clean this before you put it in the tank or cage.
