I had mobility issues and wanted the night light to plug into an outlet next to my bed. I chose this one because it has an outlet multiplied by three (so it's still easy to plug in a humidifier or vacuum) and a sensor on the front of the unit (important!) and an even light under the sensor. Here they are FANTASTIC connected to the outlets in my apartment! I have one in the designated spot (next to the bed) and another on the other side of the room by the door to this room. They're just bright enough for me to see, but not bright enough to disturb my sleep. They were well made and securely packaged - no cheap "Made in China" junk here. I highly recommend it!
