Review on DEWALT DWMT70785 Pneumatic Chisel Hammer by Louis Mechtak

I am a Dewalt fan to the core and have everything Dewalt has to offer. Seeing other reviews I was concerned that this device was so weak but thought I'd cross my fingers and give it a try. This Dewalt pneumatic hammer was just anemic. I attempted to hollow out some mortar and rough concrete from my steps in preparation for the stone cladding. This air hammer used all the air in my 27 gallon Dewalt and left almost no dent. I took my hand chisels and got the job done much quicker. The next day I bought and tried the Ingersol 114 model; the same compressor, the same work, everything is the same. Ingersol for $35.00 blew Dewalt away. There was no comparison. Unfortunately I am sending the Dewalt air hammer back immediately. Dewalt should take this one off the shelves and come out with a new model. Problem. I feel like I could give this air hammer to a five year old and I doubt he could hurt himself. Maybe they could knock off some dried playdough, but that's about all I could use it for. I hope Dewalt takes note and comes up with a better air hammer; This is not Dewalt quality.
