Haven't used them yet so can't comment on usage. Dirty and wet where I usually go. I had problems with the order and the seller came and fixed everything. Very good customer service. I would consider ordering again.

For cutting out the bottom of the shower enclosure. The chisel is excellent. The Guardian moves over time, but generally stays where it's supposed to be and can be easily moved back to a comfortable position. There's no way I feel like the guard is going to fall and leave my arms open.

This thing smells so awful and I can't get rid of the smell! I had to leave it on the street, I can't even keep it in the garage because the toxic smell filled the whole garage. When I tried to use it the smell rubbed off on my hands and I had to wash them several times to get rid of it. I've only tried using it once so I don't even know how strong and durable it is. I just can't get rid of that nasty toxic chemical smell.

Great stuff. I'm building a stone faced fire pit and using it to break and shape rocks. I bought this with 2 other bits and it is by far the best. It works really well and I think it's mainly because of the hand protection. You don't understand how you can subconsciously reduce the blow of the hammer because your hand is in close proximity to the hammer. With a protective cover, the risk of hitting your hand is reduced and the blows will therefore be much stronger. I am very happy with this…

Not bad chisels in general. However, they did not survive even a few days of recreational hard rock mining. I used it in an agate/jasper lead and the smaller tip broke off and the larger one became quite round after a few hours of use. However, I expected such results. These rocks are much harder than the concrete or mortar these chisels were advertised for. I've also used them when digging for obsidian and they didn't wear out as much as expected as it was a much softer material.

This is an excellent all-round tool. Most of the other hand chisels I looked at had bad handguard ratings. This handguard works great and feels great. It will move down a bit if you miss and hit the guard, but it will come right back and work like a champion. I've been using this for a while now and it works without any problems. This chisel could be something for you. unless you mind the strong chemical odor emanating from the handle of your tools. This chisel looked well made. Its horrible, strong chemical smell put me off using it. To be clear, I have never used this tool; The metal of the actual bit can be excellent. I found it defective because the plastic (tar?) the handle was made of was immediately apparent upon opening the Revain box. Defective because I've had tools in the past with the same unforgiving smell…
