Review on πŸ’₯ Ultimate Concrete Breaker: Powerfully Demolishing, Carving, and Hounding by Antoine Cash

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Believe me: if it comes from China and is considered a strong chemical smell!

This chisel could be something for you. unless you mind the strong chemical odor emanating from the handle of your tools. This chisel looked well made. Its horrible, strong chemical smell put me off using it. To be clear, I have never used this tool; The metal of the actual bit can be excellent. I found it defective because the plastic (tar?) the handle was made of was immediately apparent upon opening the Revain box. Defective because I've had tools in the past with the same unforgiving smell (they are all made in China) BUT I've had to throw out every one of those Chinese tools after a week or two. This smell does not go away, the smell penetrates your skin, it takes several washes to get rid of the smell. With a chemical education I can say the following. The plastic (or resin?) used to make the handle wasn't made with the right balance of chemicals. Well-processed plastics are odorless because the plasticizers are in the right chemical ratio for complete reaction; therefore the final product is chemically balanced and odorless.

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • Unfashionable
