NOT FOR A PANCAKE COMPRESSOR - NOT SO HOT FOR POOL CLEANING

This air chisel hammer looks great on paper - a great alternative to breaking your hands with a hammer and chisel. However, my little 3 gallon 2.6cc Porter Cable pancake compressor. Feet per minute could not supply the volume of air required to operate the tool. So I borrowed a much larger Husky 5 HP, 26 gal, 5.8 cfm compressor. This Dewalt pneumatic hammer was just anemic. I attempted to hollow out some mortar and rough concrete from my steps in preparation for the stone cladding. This air hammer used all the air in my 27 gallon Dewalt and left almost no dent. I took my hand chisels and got the job done much quicker. The next day I…
