Review on Farberware 1558 French Press Purple by Shelly Day
Not necessarily heat resistant
I liked the purple French Press when I had it. I brew tea in a press, and today, when I pour boiling water, the glass in the press broke. Now the press wasn't in the freezer, so it didn't happen. The press sat in the cupboard all day, so it was at room temperature and, like a few days ago, should be able to withstand boiling water. I would already have a good tea kettle, but I had to transfer it to another press and that's why I don't have purple. Very sad.8(
