I'm a grown nerd and bought this to store some of my art supplies. My last pencil box was too short for the brushes I use to mix graphite and twisted the course of the bristles, so I wanted something longer. It's a cool little box, pretty sturdy, closes well and when you open it has a locking point to keep the lid open. I like to paint with this next to me and tape what little I use to the lid so I don't have to fish it all out. The lid with the picture is smooth, without embossing, and in general it's just a nice little box. I assume it can be easily damaged due to the material it's made of, my first one was damaged, big dent on the face of the cap but I don't know what happened to it during shipping. I couldn't see it at first, but once the light caught it, it's hard to see. My 7th grader likes them but I bet he doesn't take them to school for fear of being called a nerd and my toddler loves them. I might actually have to buy her a box of trolls.
