Others have written negative reviews about the stiffness of this brush, but that's why I bought it! The brush I was looking for! These other reviews are absolutely correct! These bristles are NOT AVAILABLE! They don't soften when you get them wet, and they don't turn into useless junk when tested. They do their job and do it well. I absolutely love it and I'm curious to see how long this thing will last. I've been using it regularly for a while now (a month or two?) and the stiffness has only *minimal* decreased. That's great! Note: It is recommended to wear an apron when using it as it can brush off dirt with harshness when rubbing hard.
