Great brush for the right application

I bought this brush to use as a dishwashing brush. I found the bristles too stiff and the bristle sections too wide apart to use in dishwashing. It is ideal as a cleaning brush for pots, pans and sinks. If you're looking for a brush that works well for general dish cleaning, look elsewhere.

  • Price
Cons
  • No paint required

ATK winner, but not our favorite

So this American kitchen is voted Best Scrubber. If you need to clean a pot of really baked-on food, I'm sure the Brussels' very stiff bristles are great. I'm not a fan of the grip angle and my husband does most of the work. Washing dishes and loading the dishwasher were also not friends of the corner. I save that for these really tough jobs.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Worst dishwashing brush

I'm surprised this brush has good reviews. Dishwashing brushes have it all: too soft doesn't work, too hard doesn't. This brush is too difficult to use. The bristles don't bend at all, like you're cleaning the dishes with a handful of chopsticks. I'm wondering if ATK's recommendation was for a regular brush and not a pot and pan brush. Will go in the trash as soon as I find a replacement.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not trendy

Hate this brush: Brushes

The O-Cedar Rinse Fresh Pot & Pan Brush might be good for an industrial kitchen, but it's useless in my kitchen. That's a big animal. Extremely hard bristles. The cleaning profile of the surface of the bristles is convex, so only a few of these stiff bristles touch the plate or pan at a time. The bristles fan out from the brush head in a cone shape and because the main body of the head is so large it is impossible to penetrate the inner bottom edges of a small/medium pot. Where the scraper head

Incredibly hard! That's exactly what I wanted!

Others have written negative reviews about the stiffness of this brush, but that's why I bought it! The brush I was looking for! These other reviews are absolutely correct! These bristles are NOT AVAILABLE! They don't soften when you get them wet, and they don't turn into useless junk when tested. They do their job and do it well. I absolutely love it and I'm curious to see how long this thing will last. I've been using it regularly for a while now (a month or two?) and the stiffness has only…

It's good, but lacks a key feature.

Got this after reading a review about how great it is. I like it. He's doing his job. nearly. A large round brush works well, and for those stubborn spots there's a short brush that goes in the opposite direction. That's the problem, I can't get in to clean where the two sides of the pan meet. I eat oatmeal every other day. Oatmeal sticks to the bottom of the pot after a day. The brush removes more than 95 percent of the oatmeal residue from the pan. But where the bottom of the pot meets the…
