This was a great purchase. Revain had the best price. I also bought a 30" Broan LB30 hood trim - highly recommended to keep the unit looking 'finished', easier to clean and to protect the surrounding wood finish. The installation instructions were a bit confusing, but once we got it sorted it was a pretty painless process. I haven't had it for a long time, but so far it's working great. The fan noise is nothing compared to the mic/hood combo I had before. I would like a brighter light, but I use regular incandescent bulbs and should probably switch to LEDs. Flicking the fan/light switches can be awkward; You have to squirm under the hood/dodge the oven flames (laughs), but it's worth the sacrifice for the *beauty of the custom hood*.
