Works exactly as advertised

Having bought the Alpine ilx-w650 radio I had no idea that accessing most of the functions would require connecting the parking brake. After researching on the internet I stumbled across this little article and took a chance. Needless to say it was easy to install and fix the issues I was having. Owner of a 2003 Ford F-150. I don't have a handbrake and that just made it easier. Recommended for anyone thinking about it.
