I thought these cheap bulbs were cheap bulbs. But they seem really good! They are very blue, very bright and very easy to use. I actually bought it as an experiment. Personally I'm not a fan of LED bulbs but my 1980 TR7 Triumph uses just 4 bulbs to illuminate the entire dashboard which is encased in old green plastic lenses from long ago. I'm sure they were bright 40 years ago but not so much now. Also, green lights make me sick because almost every car I've owned since I started driving has had green or orange dashboard lights. Damn! Also, with LEDs, it doesn't matter what color the internal lenses are, the light passing through them is the color of the LED. For this reason I am not modifying my classic car, I am just replacing a lightbulb which can easily be swapped out to restore the factory correct blah blah green originality. The instrument panel lights and heater switch indicators look good in blue. Also, my turn signals and warning lights still use the original bulbs, and I mean 40 year old Lucas bulbs! They don't make them like they used to! As these are LEDs and the dimmer is original equipment, turning the knob will only dim slightly and then off until the end of the knob rotation. I could change this with a modern dimmer, but I've found that the slight dimming that occurs is just enough for my needs. A minor annoyance, the pole marked positive on the bulb is negative and vice versa. They must be installed correctly on an old machine, otherwise they will not light up.
