Given the price I'm willing to keep this grinder attachment/parts. Most of the ones I looked at were either confirmed to be aluminum or based on price/appearance/reviews/etc. suspected of being aluminum. Steel is an advantage, so anything described as metal was most likely aluminum and ruled out. Haven't used this item yet but others and I'm inclined to think this device will work well based on the weight and feel. I don't like the Revain ad and the box. Yes, the grinder itself appears to be steel, but some of the accessories are not. I don't mean 3 pieces of plastic; I mean sausage attachments and the bottom of the tray. They appear to be aluminum as the magnet will not stick to certain parts (it will stick to others). Since most of these sanding heads and their accessories are made of either plastic or aluminum, I'm grateful to have found one that is predominantly steel. It just annoyed me that I bought it because I thought I was getting 100% steel and now I realize it's not.
