I have this to charge a large deep cycle car battery that I take on a camping trip. I use a battery to power an 800-1500w inverter that I use several times a day. I just plug it in and hook up my battery and let it do its thing. It kept my battery charged with no issues. Before that I started to lose charge after about 2-3 days (depending on usage). I took my tester with me on my last trip and my battery stayed fully charged the whole time. For what I need it's perfect. This is a complete set right out of the box with simple and clear instructions. I'm sure it can do more than I use it. Very happy with this product.
