After almost 170,000 miles. One of the rear drive universal joints on my 1993 GMC 3500 eventually started to vibrate, so I ordered one of those. I put the U-joint in the freezer overnight to allow the grease in the cups to harden so I had no issues with needle bearings falling out and ending up in hard-to-reach places on my desk. It also made installation easier. It fitted perfectly and eliminated transmission noise. I've driven the truck 1600 miles round trip and it still works as intended. When the time comes to replace another gimbal I will order more of these. I need to buy a needle fitting for my grease gun as this part doesn't have a regular grease fitting but it does have a needle fitting. I can't remember the name of the plug, but it's there. I don't remember what I did yesterday either. Getting old is a lot of fun.
