I really liked the quality. They are folded in half so there is a crease but I have short hair so I have yet to trim it. They are attached to the clip quite securely so all the tinsel is held in place well even though I have to tug a few times to put it on and take it off my hair. HERE'S HOW TO USE THE CLAMP: This is a tension clamp. This is a concave (inner curve). To release, squeeze both sides of the clip and the curve/prongs will change from concave (inward) to convex (outward). In other words, bend it in the opposite direction from the inner curve. This creates some space between the teeth and the small piece of styrofoam.
