Review on Axiom Rechargeable Battery BT 1008 CPH 515B by Jack Robi

I recently purchased this item to replace our BT-1021 batteries used in Uniden cordless phones. I received it on Monday January 8th. Today I used the phone and then put it back in the charging station. After a while we got an incoming call but the handset didn't work at all. I removed the battery cover and found that the battery had plenty of ventilation and was warm enough to slightly warp the battery cover on the phone. Five days in use and I have batteries that I can't trust (thankfully the battery compartment, while showing signs of heating, didn't catch fire). While this may be an isolated case, I cannot recommend this product to anyone; I wish I had chosen a direct replacement for Uniden rather than this brand.
