Great addition to your tool box.

I have a couple of OBD2 code scanners. They are great for general codes but were useless to read some of the codes on my 2016 Mini Cooper. In particular the SRS codes. While I was fixing the heater element in the driver's seat, I turned on the ignition with the wiring harness disconnected from both seats. There is an error that something is wrong with the side airbags. This error can only be reset with a reader that can read the error code. My existing reader could not read or reset codes. This reader can It saved me the trip to the dealer and the cost of labor. The investment is worth it.
