Review on 50wt Aurifil Natural White Quilting Thread by Linda Diaz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Can't get exact 1/4 " seams? Try this thread

How many times did you carefully measure the pieces before cutting them, used a quarter inch foot on your machine and slowly sewed the pieces together and formed a precise block...then measured the block and found it was smaller, what does the guide say?Troubleshooting. It was then that I discovered Aurifil 50 wt thread difference a thread can make. But think about it...if the thread used is roughly the same size as the threads woven into the fabric, the stitches will dig into the fabric and take up less space... perfect stitches every time. , the best thread for sewing. However, since it is so thin, it is certainly strong enough to hold the seams together when sewing clothes, but pulling the gather is more difficult. . Throw So don't throw away polyester/cotton threads as they are still useful for sewing clothes. . .but nothing but Aurifil can compete with my blankets! . .because it is thinner (but of equal strength) than most other threads, more thread can be wound on the spool. I especially notice this difference when using my smaller machine with standard size bobbins. More time sewing, less time winding the bobbin helps me make the most of my limited sewing time.

Pros
  • thread and thread
Cons
  • fine
