Great thread for sewing and quilting Free Motion

This thread is a great find and its fineness allows for a 1/4 inch accurate seam. This makes it much easier to attach the blocks and then the top of the quilt. as there is much less variation in size There is so much quilting that it is not worth using cheap thread - you will literally see the difference at the end of the sewing and quilting process with the "wobbly" appearance of a quilted bodice. don't like the curliness of aurophile, other than that nothing negative to say, lots of good…

Without exception the best yarn for quilting!

later How many times did you carefully measure before you cut out your pieces, used the quarter inch foot on your machine and slowly sewed the pieces together to form a precise block. . Then measured the block and found it to be smaller than the instructions say? This used to be the most annoying part of quilting for me. . so much so that I have given my blocks to various troubleshooting instructors. That's when I discovered Aurifil 50 wt thread. I never realized how big a difference one thread

Can't get exact 1/4 " seams? Try this thread

How many times did you carefully measure the pieces before cutting them, used a quarter inch foot on your machine and slowly sewed the pieces together and formed a precise block...then measured the block and found it was smaller, what does the guide say?Troubleshooting.It was then that I discovered Aurifil 50 wt thread difference a thread can make.But think about it...if the thread used is roughly the same size as the threads woven into the fabric, the stitches will dig into the fabric and take
