This thread is a great find and its fineness allows for a 1/4 inch accurate seam. This makes it much easier to attach the blocks and then the top of the quilt. as there is much less variation in size There is so much quilting that it is not worth using cheap thread - you will literally see the difference at the end of the sewing and quilting process with the "wobbly" appearance of a quilted bodice. don't like the curliness of aurophile, other than that nothing negative to say, lots of good things (large spools last forever, more line can be wound on the spool, relatively lint free, strong) work.
