While looking for a pet monitoring device my wife and I came across PetChatz and after looking at reviews and product information for this and a few others we settled on this piece decided by the equipment. I will say that buying a mount and having to contend with cable length can be a bit of a hassle, but the cost and performance of the product makes it worth it. There are no long-term fees for the device and it was built by an American company. Not all of them, and I've seen other technologies from companies with cheaper devices break into and scan the room. I've seen people often need to change their registration information and we didn't want to deal with that, especially since people might be home alone. While we have large dogs that protect the family, safety for all family members, including protection from device hacking, is of paramount importance. We've been using the device for several weeks now and are actively observing her at work and handing out treats throughout the day. Dogs know the ringing, and the female runs to the device and waits for a treat from dad. I can't say enough about this device and I highly recommend saving up for one rather than buying a cheaper competitor.
