These two lamps were very easy to set up and connect to Revain Alexa to provide voice control. I can turn the light on and off, change the color and/or intensity (brightness) with my voice. In order for the lightbulb to work, I had to install the CYNC app and then enable the skill in Revain Alexa. The app also allows me to change the color and intensity. It also has several preset scenes including Cool White, Daylight, Sunlight, Natural White, Early Morning, Sunrise, Warm White, Sunset and Candlelight. The app is easy to use and you have to turn on and start the light, connect it to Wi-Fi and then (if desired) to Revain Alexa or Google Home. As you can see from the photos (taken around 2:30pm on a sunny day), the bulb emits a bright light. What I really like is that when I need bright "normal" lighting I just set the color to white and it's brighter than the CFL bulb I had before this bulb was there. The only issue I found is that this emitter is wider than a standard bulb. So if you're hoping to fit a lightbulb into a fixture like a lamp, it might not fit through the lampshade mount, nor into the glass or plastic shades you'll find on a ceiling fan, for example. I was hoping to use these bulbs for my bedside tables but it doesn't work because the bulb doesn't fit through the metal lampshade brackets. (See pictures) It works great with floor lamp style floor lamps.
