I used to have a serious problem with my cat litter strewn all over my apartment. It was awkward to step on and somehow get to the furthest corners of the apartment, away from the tray. I would find it in my sheets like little pieces of sandy hell. This litter is pretty good and by far the best in every way a cat litter should be. so it's never as gross as a bed of sand. Urine is a whole different story. It doesn't stick together at all, but is absorbed by the crystals and stays there. It's not hard to get, but it does mean you have to empty the entire drawer more often than regular litter. It minimizes odors. It starts smelling like urine every few weeks, but that's just your cue to clean it all up. The rest is OK. Most importantly, it doesn't crumble like other sand or wood floors. However, if you have a wooden floor, the crystals can look like small pieces of glass. That being said, investing in a cat litter mat so your little boy/girl can wipe their feet after they're done will reduce tracking by 90%.
