Large not very large
I wear an American size 8, and the Large shorts were unwearably small. Like, I couldn't get them past my mid-thigh. The rise is about 4 inches -- which is either very fashionable for 2005, or made for some other species of woman. Returned painlessly. Still searching for useful neoprene shorts for water sports.
