Very easy! Best Audio & Video Accessories

I recently bought an ASUS Chromebox to run Plex. My home setup originally consisted of a working Windows laptop connected to a DisplayLink dock (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GQQO8FA/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) with 2 monitors, Mouse, keyboard and Jabra headset (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YJ2WBY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to support Skype calls for work. The docking station was connected directly to my LAN with an Ethernet cable. When buying the Chromebox, my initial thought was to use the Pluggable Sharing Switcher (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JX3Q28Y/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but it got tricky. The first problem was getting the DisplayLink adapters to work with the operating system installed on the Chromebox. Second, my Jabra device was useless when connected to a Chromebox as Skype had to be installed on my work laptop. The third was that for the tiny amount of time I was disconnected from my work laptop, it would disconnect at least the first time. So my alternative was to use VNC to connect to the Chromebox. I've used X11VNC and while it works fine when a monitor is connected to the Chromebox, when there is no monitor the resolution drops. A little google search led me to this product and I decided to take a chance. given the low cost. Upon arrival, unpacking was easy enough and it only took me 1 minute to turn off the Chromebox, plug it in, boot the machine and connect it via VNC. All permission issues are magically gone after a reboot! Very few products have been so simply effective within a minute of unpacking! I highly recommend this item.
