Review on VIVREAL 4 In 1 Stud Finder Sensor Wall Scanner - LCD Display, Sound Warning & Auto Calibration For Wood AC Wire Metal Detection by Dustin Marshall

First off, I rarely leave reviews on Walmart. With that said, this stud finder does not work. I used a brand new 9V battery as instructed. Just to verify, I opened another brand new 9V battery and stud finder still does not work. The display does light up and it will locate AC in the walls but that is all. This stud finder will not locate any studs wood or metal using the normal, deep, or metal functions. I have been using stud finders for years. I did read the instructions just in case there was something additional or special this stud finder required but again, it will not locate studs regardless of how I calibrate the unit or what setting I use for this stud finder. I have standard drywall 1/2 inch and normal wooden studs in the walls. I ordered this one due to my old stud finder finally going bad after 10 years of use. My old stud finder worked fine in my house. I figure the one I received today is bad. I will request a replacement. If the company replaces this faulty stud finder with one that actually works with no hassle from customer service, I will at that time change my review to a better review.**Edit**After contacting Walmart and Seller, they sent me a new one and it works fine. Product is pretty good once you get one that functions. I'll up it to 4 stars for the ease of replacing and functionality of the new stud finder. Again, new (replacement) works great but first one didn't at all. Was very easy to get the replacement.
