I had some old hard drives that I wanted to see if I could see what was on them. I was only able to read one of them, but that's not the device's fault: I'm pretty sure they're just dead. One worked and he read right away. In Windows 10, the USB was not recognized immediately. Plugged it in a second time and it found the correct driver. The drive must be plugged in before you press the power button or it will not read properly. Each hard drive fits slightly differently, but in the end I was able to connect them all. Too bad all my drives were dead. But my machine worked.
