Moto X4 died again. Couldn't tell for sure if he was "mostly dead" or really dead. Recovery mode didn't work. However, I was able to determine that it goes into different states by observing the power consumption. With a blank image I was able to flash the phone and see the power usage - and see it reboot. eventually he will be able to restore it. The device isn't as small as some might think and works exactly as advertised. Worth every penny.
