I had an A10 and returned it for an A12 because A12 amp tubes have a lot of twist options. And yet the sound quality of this amp leaves a lot to be desired, even straight out of the box. I hope your conclusion is that while the A12 more than holds its own, surrounding it with highly sensitive speakers and quality hardware unlocks its full potential.
