Description of BOYUURANGE Reisong A12: Superior EL34 12AX7 Hi-Fi Tube Amp for Audiophiles

Please pay attention before buying, We received feedback from many buyers, reflecting that Reisong A12 Amp have not enough power. Please confirm that your speaker is a bookshelf speakers with a sensitivity 89db or more. We don't think Reisong A12 work well with a floorstanding Speaker or the low sensitivity speakers. Point to Point hand welding, preferred audiophiles, output transformer switch to the 76x40 higher end output transformer. Reisong A12 Amp is an upgraded version of A10, could use more replacement models of tubes without convertor. Come with Tube Cage. Vacuum Tube: EL34 x 2,12AX7 (ECC83) x 2,5Z4PJ x 1. If there is no sound from the machine after waiting for a few minutes, Please make sure the power is connected properly. And try pressing the Black Circle Button on the back of the machine (for switching between AUX and CD modes).

Great workmanship and sound quality!

Fantastic little amp for the money. Silky center. It's great for vocals. Excellent build quality and attention to detail. Able to play almost all genres of music without much drama but obviously gets a little sloppy when turned on with high energy levels like Hard Rock or Metal. but that's not what it's made for :) Sounds fantastic on a Klipsch Forte IV. Can't comment on pairing with other speakers. If you're looking for a well-designed amp that gives you great, pure, old-school tube magic on…

sounds good, screw in the case

the box was good. As soon as I pulled the amp out I heard a rattling noise, a screw floating inside the amp. Bad sign. I plug it in, turn on the music and the sound is quieter than in headphones where there is no bass at all. I had to reinsert the tubes, after which he made a noise. Good sound, amazing amount of bass. I'm trying to convince myself it's worth $500. Amplifiers aren't cheap, are they? I've been using the SMLS SA50 for years now, I think it was $65 back then. Does this amp sound 10

Very important! for amplifier

I've had this unit for about a week and it's important to know that the tubes need time to burn in. I understand that after 40-50 hours of play they are fully broken in. It is also important to pair this tube amp with high power speakers as it is only 6 watts per channel. I play them through my Klipsch La Scala and they sound very good with less than 20 hours of playback. The materials of construction and workmanship are excellent. This is a very nice unit that will complement my old Onkyo A-10

Great amp with one caveat.

Got the amp last Friday just in time for the weekend. Out of the box I wasn't very impressed, but things started to improve after a few hours. The A-12 takes about 30 minutes to warm up to sound better, like most tube amps. My speakers can clip with solid state amplifiers and sound harsh. They prefer tubes. I'd say the A-12 has a solid 3.5 stars, subtracting one star for what appears to be the used rectifier tube that came with the unit. I have examined it carefully and it has been used many…

Game changer with proper speakers

Good buy! Unbalanced flea amps require very careful matching with speakers in order to shine. Very high sensitivity and minimal impedance drops are required. Single driver full range speakers are ideal. Tried 600rpm. Not bad but I'm guessing the sensitivity rating. My similarly rated 8 inch full range horn speakers played much louder at a given volume setting and sounded much better too. Got the 600s back and stuck with my 8" full range. If you have DIY skills there are plenty of plans for…

Sounds great, but check it out when you get it.

It's still fairly new, about 50 hours on the amp. I'm just amazed at how this little thing sounds. The included el34 tubes are psvane so not bad but the 12ax7 tubes in the preamp just say 'China' and I've replaced them with Wolfsole. I put some 6ca7 electric harmonicas in place of Psvanes and the soundstage and clarity just blossomed and they're nowhere near done yet. If whistles are your thing, this is a great place to start. There is a very faint, almost inaudible hum, but I'm sure I'm…

Audio Nirvana shouldn't be expensive

I had an A10 and returned it for an A12 because A12 amp tubes have a lot of twist options. And yet the sound quality of this amp leaves a lot to be desired, even straight out of the box. It's the equivalent, if not better, of the PS Audio BHK 250 I had before, which cost a whopping $7,500. What makes the A12 so good is that my new speakers require very little power to run. I ventured the Klipsch Forte IV and they will be my last speakers. With a sensitivity of 99, a 6-watt amp can drive them…
