Review on BOYUURANGE Reisong A12: Superior EL34 12AX7 Hi-Fi Tube Amp for Audiophiles by Matt Estrada

It's still fairly new, about 50 hours on the amp. I'm just amazed at how this little thing sounds. The included el34 tubes are psvane so not bad but the 12ax7 tubes in the preamp just say 'China' and I've replaced them with Wolfsole. I put some 6ca7 electric harmonicas in place of Psvanes and the soundstage and clarity just blossomed and they're nowhere near done yet. If whistles are your thing, this is a great place to start. There is a very faint, almost inaudible hum, but I'm sure I'm getting interference somewhere because it's close to a lot of other electronics. (WLAN router, TV streamer, cable box, etc.). Be sure to check it on arrival. The large center transformer was loose and one of the screws was loose in the packaging. These are seams that need to be divided. Very well packaged but goes a long way. I had to open up the bottom and reinstall this transformer before I even got the tubes in. In any case, I think it's a good idea to open it up and give it one more time. In addition, it is well built. Wiring is clean, soldering looks good. Next week I will be buying a pair of kt77 golden lions just because I can. It's really fun and very helpful.
