I can say that much for it. The sole is rugged with good traction. But two fatal flaws kill it for these boots.#1 - I don't know if it's just my foot, but the way this is designed, I can't get my foot around the curve to the toe without loosening every single lace crossing, all the way down. Nor can I extract my foot from the boot without doing the same thing. That's a lot of time spent on just. boots!#2 - this has a steel toe and is very breathable. which means it's about as waterproof as a sponge. These boots not only let water in, they hold water! I had to put them on a shoe rack in our dryer and ran it for over an hour. The next morning, they were still mildewed beyond hope of redemption. so in the trash they went.In summary, they're great indoor work boots. If you work outside or in any capacity that may get these wet, avoid them.
