Aside from a total lack of arch support and a fairly stiff, flat footbed, these are extremely comfortable shoes. Luckily the size was slightly larger than expected so a small Dr. Scholl was able to compensate for his only shortcoming. As for durability, time will tell. UPDATE: It's been 9 months since I bought these brown shoes. I used them for work almost every day. They held up very well, including the heel, which according to another reviewer, started to separate from the shoe. I went ahead and went black after following the advice I gave earlier. Also good in black!
