Review on 🚗 Meguiar's G12718 NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0: Advanced Car Care for Superior Shine - 18 fl oz by Jonathan Waritani

I have always used Meguire's Gold Class Carnauba Plus Premium (and other wax pastes) on my cars as they give the best wet results and the protection lasts quite a bit of time. However, on my latest weekend car I have applied a protective film (PPF) to the entire front (bonnet, fenders and front bumper) so traditional waxes can damage the film and discolour it. Finding wax without carnauba and petroleum is basically impossible, but this NXT Tech Wax 2.0 seems to be the ticket. Although it's not listed anywhere on Revain's website or even Meguire's website, it does contain some oil, but the percentage is between 1% and 5% if I remember reading Meguire's ingredient list in PDF format (which is hidden deep on their website). ). The other synthetic chemical blends in NXT are perfectly safe to use on PPF and have been tested by many others on automotive forums and PPF shops over the years, all with no problems. Heck, lip balm foam stick has a higher percentage of oil than this wax. So I've been using it for a year now and haven't had any problems with my PPF. Other than that, it's pretty easy to apply and I just used my hands to apply and remove instead of an orbital machine. The smell is good, and while it doesn't have that "wet" look, it definitely feels like a mirror.
