This item is plastic like those old school combs so I knew it would be hard to break. However, the scrapers are all flat on one side so you cannot get an even massage on both sides of your face/neck. You use the concave curved edge on one cheek and then have to switch to the convex curved edge on the other side of the tool as you can't flip it over (it is completely flat and will not fit the face contours of the other side of the face ). Buy this if you want the acupressure tools, they are good. The scrapers.NO.NO.NO
