I have a 2008 Chrysler 300 LX, the boot drive started working (a click is heard, but the lid does not open). This part fits perfectly and takes 5 minutes to change. The easiest and most useful thing I've ever done to a car! The hardest part was figuring out how to remove the plastic protection on the original drive. Pro tip: you don't have to. Just open the cover and you can unclip the blue connector, unscrew the two screws (it took me a 13/32" wrench) and slide the drive out. It is not necessary to remove the entire plastic cover attached to the trunk. The item works great. and i am very happy with the purchase - anyone can install this part themselves.
