Review on ☕ Calphalon 14-Cup Programmable Stainless Steel Drip Coffee Maker with Glass Carafe, Enhanced Performance Heating by Tim Armstrong

I use this machine daily. Very good coffee maker. However, as you can see in the attached image, a crack has developed in the ring around the heating platform. Excessive moisture comes out of the basket area (heavy lid, great seal) due to someone else slipping out, which I don't normally fear, but the cracked ring leads straight to the electric heating rings and drips every time the pot is removed Water from above (per teaspoon maybe 1.5), cuts less than an inch from the hole. I think in one of those cases the wave won't miss that opening and the whole thing will go haywire. I'll look around for a replacement. This is a good car and I would recommend it with caution.
