Although I have purchased many KeySmart fobs and accessories for myself and gifts over the past 3 years, I will no longer be a KeySmart customer in the future. While I've spoken very positively of them in the past when they've asked about my various KeySmart fobs, that's over now too. a particular product stops working for no apparent reason (e.g. no hard falls, no exposure to water) within a few months of use. Charging the device, reinstalling the application, confirming all the settings, etc. didn't matter. I know it was the device as another KeySmart Pro tile worked with the same phone and app with no issues. The reason for one star is solely for customer service. I made a warranty/replacement request (I was one of the first buyers and received a discount so I wanted a replacement rather than a refund as I would need an additional 25% to replace something that breaks after only a few months of use failed). . I received an email confirming that I will receive an exchange/replacement once I send them the defective original. For some reason the person who received the broken one chose to process it as a return. After several attempts to explain my situation, they refused to credit me with the additional $15 I would need to buy back and replace the device. follow their own warranty process and follow what they have confirmed in writing before I return the defective one. Accepting responsibility for improper processing of a warranty claim.
