Works well, I would give it a 5 if it didn't seem so fragile, but until you get mad about it I doubt it will break very easily. It does as much as you can expect from a screen when it comes to filtering out explosives, which isn't much. Pop filters and windscreens reduce, but do not completely prevent, explosives from entering the microphone. Pop filters were originally made for old ribbon mics, the ribbon in those mics was very fragile so they put in filters to prevent extreme puffs of air and saliva from hitting the ribbon which helped it last a lot longer and the Amount of explosives has been reduced. just a bonus. Today these filters are mainly used by audio engineers to prevent their talents from getting too close to the microphone and to look professional. To actually avoid plosives, simply aim your speech/singing away from the microphone instead of directly at it. It sounds the same, but there's less air coming in. Other than that, the product does everything you can expect and is priced reasonably.
