Review on πŸ–ŠοΈ Pen Holder by Silhouette America: A Perfect Solution for Organizing and Displaying Your Pens by Ashley Carlson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works with almost every pen

I bought this a few weeks ago and I love it. I've tested it with fine markers, standard ballpoint pens, Pilot G2 pens (they have a rubber grip) and even a standard sharpie. The holder comes with three different cartridges, for lack of a better word: small, medium and large. You place the pen in an appropriately sized chuck, insert the pen into the holder until it touches the cap on the other end, and then screw it in. When you screw it in, the "fingers" close around the tip for stability. Insert into the machine tool holder and sketch! I use this to line my standard bullet magazine pages and then glue the pages to the magazine. They succeed perfectly every time. When using multiple colors, it is a little tedious to remove the tool, unscrew the chuck, take out the handle, insert the next handle and align, fix the chuck and put it back into the machine. It doesn't matter when you consider that you can use almost any size pen, and you are not limited to using the short pins that Silhouette sells. Silhouette pens are definitely easier to replace - remove color A, put in color B - but I'm not sure how much ink they actually have, and considering you're buying a box of 60 Stick pens for 5 Dollars at Revain and Sketch Pens At over $1 each (based on an MSRP of $19.99 for an 18-pen starter pack), it's easy to see that this accessory has a pretty easy return on investment.
