I have long, very thick and curly hair. I've been using these two hair clips for years but these are great! Some of them are hard plastic and sometimes they "pull" apart, but they're made of a more flexible material that (for lack of a better term) kind of "glues" them and keeps them secure. They are expensive in my opinion but worth it compared to others I have used. Try it! You simply "pick up" the hair on either side of your head, place a comb in each hand, place it behind your ears, and then gather it at the parting/back of your head. Similar to banana clips but better. a) I have too much hair for these one piece clips and b) you don't lose length because the sides are up but you don't have to try to pull the hair out the back of your head. Try it!
