I really like how long this locking comb is. This gives the look of a banana clip without being limited to two combs attached. And it's thick and strong enough for thick hair. I don't know if I caught a defective one or they are all so vulnerable, but one of the teeth bent after a sock. I haven't done anything that would make it unstable like not laying on it or sitting on it, so I don't know how that happened. I bent it in place and it works until this tooth bends again. Been looking for these to replace mine from the literal 70's have them to the death! Other, hard plastic, will NOT hold your long hair if your hair is clean and soft unless you yank it out like hell!
