No shaft cover on my review.

Opened box, assembled two pieces together.
no shaft cover included. Bought this particular one because I thought it had everything I was looking for, I even double checked the listing to ensure I didn't make a mistake but it says it comes with and mine didn't, disappointing.

Pros

Good length and weight.

Cons

The weight of the paddle may be too heavy for some users, causing fatigue during long paddling trips

This paddle is fairly cheap for the nice features it has. I like the scooped paddles as it makes it easier to push yourself along with when kayaking and I like the small hook cut out in one paddle so I can hook it onto the bungee cord of my kayak and tuck the other end to the bungee cord on the opposite end of my kayak. The orange coloring of the paddles is great if you are kayaking in low light/nighttime. The length of the paddle is great and I don''t have to paddle so often with a longer handle.This is a perfect replacement for my other, shorter, flat-paddled kayak paddle and a much-improved one at that!
